About: Trisha believes it takes a lot of courage to enter the therapeutic process and feels honored to come alongside her clients in their journey towards hope and healing. Trisha is a Certified Daring Way Facilitator™ which means she is trained in the research of Brené Brown to work with individuals, families, and groups. The work focuses on courage building, shame resilience, and uncovering the power of vulnerability. Trisha is a great fit if you are looking for ways to dig deeper into Brené Brown’s research on courage, vulnerability, shame, and empathy.

Trisha has special interest in helping military families and has been working with them in a professional setting since 2003. She has been an instructor for “Beyond the Yellow Ribbon” reintegration events and has also been a speaker for various military events including Wingman Day, Joint Women’s Leadership Symposium, Family Readiness Groups, Family Assistance Center Staff Training, Family Day weekends and Officer’s Christian Fellowship. As a military wife herself, she is passionate about serving military families and helping other professionals to assist and understand this unique population.

Trisha is currently working with teens. She has received intensive training in sand tray and enjoys using it with teens and adults as an enhancement to talk therapy.

Trisha enjoys working with couples and enjoys helping couples find their way back to each other using an Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy focus. Trisha is also certified in PREPARE/ENRICH for those interested in pre-marital counseling. Trisha received her B.A. from Bethel University and her M.A. in Marriage and Family therapy from Bethel Seminary.
