About: Dr. Berryhill, aka Dr. Jeff or Jeff, appreciates accompanying people in their journey toward healing. He believes that the journey often begins with developing an understanding of where you have been so you can best move forward. He loves working with a variety of people and challenges. He has practiced counseling and assessment for more than 30 years.
Dr. Berryhill holds an APA-accredited doctorate in clinical psychology from Fuller Seminary. He also has master’s degrees in theology and in psychology. He teaches in the graduate counseling program at Bethel University. Dr. Berryhill helped found and direct a faith-based counseling center in Fairfax, Virginia before moving to Minnesota in 2010.
Specialties: Dr. Berryhill treats a variety of difficulties including Depression, Anxiety Problems and OCD, ADHD, and Relationship Problems. He often serves people in vocational ministry, including pastors, missionaries, and their families. He also provides psychological assessments for people who are adopting internationally as well as candidates for seminary or vocational ministry.
Types of Therapy: Dr. Berryhill uses a variety of counseling approaches, including solution-focused, cognitive-behavioral, and family systems. He offers individual counseling for late adolescents and adults. He also works with couples and families.
