About: Laura Lee Finstrom has a master’s degree in Professional Counseling through Liberty University. She received her B.S. in Secondary Mathematics Education in 2006 and has since taught in Illinois and served as a missionary in Hungary teaching at an international Christian school. Laura Lee will be using an integrative approach to therapy that may include Person-Centered Therapy and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy. Her training and experience include integrating Christian faith perspectives and resources into the counseling process when the client desires and when consistent with effective clinical treatment. Over the years of training, she has focused on several areas of mental health, including grief/loss, anxiety, attachment, transition, trauma, the impact of living cross-culturally, and ministry-related stressors. Laura Lee has a passion for walking with individuals through life’s struggles and various seasons of life. 

Specialties: EMDR, Grief/Loss, anxiety, transition, trauma, cross-cultural living, missionaries, ministry workers, MKs (Missionary Kids), TCKs (Third Culture Kids), and global workers. From her experience as an educator, she also has competency for supporting adolescents regarding academic concerns, testing anxiety, and executive functioning. The integration of faith is welcome as the client desires.
